Arkadaşım bilgisayarı üzerinden onun bir sorunuyla ilgili yazıyorum. Kendisi Driver Manager'da nvidia-340 sürücü güncellemesini görünce, mevcut sürücüsünden (304) ona geçmek istemiş, zira bu sürücüyle paneli faresinin tıklamalarına cevap vermiyormuş. Geçmiş de. İlk anda panel düzgün çalışmaya başlasa da, bir süre sonra beyaz ekran ve donma gibi daha büyük sorunlar yaşamış. Bunları neden yaptık, paylaştığınız çıktıda nvidia sürücüsü yerine açık kaynak nouveau sürücüsünün etkin olduğu görünüyordu. Bu sebeple sürücü kurulumunda bir sorun olup olmadığını anlamak istedim. Yukarıdaki çıktılara göre sürücü kurulumu başarılı görünüyor. Sistemi yeniden başlatıysanız aşağıdaki komutun çıktısı ile son durumu kontrol edelim.

Durum pek iyiye gitmedi: dediklerinizi yaptıktan sonra hakikaten nvidia340'a geçti, fakat terminalden çıktıyı alıp buraya yazabilecek bir süre tanımayan bir donma sorunu yine baş gösterdi. Ardından, tekrar açık kaynak kodlu sürücüye geri döndük, lâkin geldiğimiz noktada ekranın "göz kırpmaları" tahammül edilemez bir boyuta ulaştı. Biz de sistemi yeniden kurmak zorunda kaldık zira hiç bir eylem gerçekleştiremedik içerden. Şimdi elimizde taze bir sistem var, lâkin nvidia-340'a Sürücü Yöneticisi yoluyla geçmek yine donmaya sebep oluyor. Peki bu açık kaynak kodlu sürücüyü kullanıp bu ekran "göz kırpmasını" (artık nadiren olsa da) yok etmenin bir yolu yok mudur?

Bu değişikliği yaptıktan sonra yeniden başlattık lâkin, durumda bir değişim olmadı. İşlemcinin görece fazla yüklendiği anda ekrandan dalgalanma alıyoruz yine.

Pek ilginç gerçekten, ancak başlarken açık kaynak kodlu sürücüden değil de resmi sürücüden başlarken olduğu gibi, linux mint logosunun grafiğinde bir farklılık vardı (bunu nasıl tarif edeceğimi bilmiyorum ama, ikisi arasında net bir fark oluyor). Sorun nvidia için nvidia-340 sürücüsüne alias tanımlanmamasından kaynaklanıyormuş. Forumda bununla ilgili bir konu (https://forum.linuxmint.net.tr/index.php?topic=8068.0) daha açılmış ama çözememiştik. O konudan bu konuya referans ekleyim. Aynı sürücüyü evde bende Nvidia 9500 GPU ile kullanıyorum ama herhangi bir sorun ortaya çıkmadı. Demek ki bazı sistemler ortaya çıkıyor ya da benim fazladan yüklemiş olabileceğim ama bilemediğim başka bir paket sebebiyle sorun yaşamamış olabilirim.
