2009 model core2duo işlemcili emektar(macbookpro) bilgisayarıma biraz daha hızlı çalışmasını umarak son sürümde olan
mate, cinnamon, xfce masaüstlerini ayrı ayrı kurup denedim. Kurulum sonrası ekran kartı sürücüsünü depodan kurduğumda ekran yırtılmaları başkıyor. Bununla ilgili bir çözüm var mı acaba ?

Nvidia Ayar Yöneticisini (Nvidia Settings) açıp, OpenGL Settings bölümü altından dikey sennronizasyon ayarını (Sync to Vblank) etkinleştirmeyi deneyiniz. Sonrasında sistemi yeniden başlatmak gerekebilir.
Ayrıca Xfce için Compton birleştirme (compositing) yöneticisini etkinleştirmek denenebilir. https://forum.linuxmint.net.tr/index.php?topic=4352.0

bahsettiğiniz pencere yöneticileri ile de deneme yaptım fakat sonuç yine aynı. fakat şöyle bir gelişme oldu, nvidia-304 sürücüsünü kurayım dedim belki bir değişiklik olur diye onu kurduktan sonra ekranın altındaki titreme geçti fakat ekran ışığı sürekli aynı seviyede yanıyor. altta belirttiğim düzenlemeyi yaptıktan sonra ayar değiştirebildim fakat bilgisayarı yeniden başlattığımda ekran ışığı hep maksimum seviyede başlıyor. Bunu düzeltmenin bir yolu var mıdır acaba ?

If backlight control does not work for you, follow these instructions: Edit the file '/etc/X11/xorg.conf' and add this line into the Device section: Option "RegistryDwords" "EnableBrightnessControl=1" Reboot and check if backlight control works. If so, you're done. If not, edit the file '/etc/default/grub' and change the line: GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash" to GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash acpi_backlight=vendor" Update grub with this command: sudo update-grub Reboot and backlight control should work. If it still doesn't work, try installing the nvidia-bl-dkms package from mactel-support for Natty (from https://launchpad.net/~mactel-support/+archive/ppa), this was the only way for me to get the backlight control working on Precise. evet ekledikten sonra ekran ışığı kontrol edilmeye başladı. Eski sürücü kullanmanın herhangi bir zararı olur mu ?

Performans beklenebilecek bir aygıt olarak değerlendirilmeyeceğini düşünürsek, eski sürüm sürücüyü kullanmanın bir dezavantaj üreteceğini sanmıyorum. Bence bu şekilde sorun çözüldüyse hiç ellemeyin.
