Linux Mint Makinadan Windows Paylaşımlarına Ulaşamıyorum

Linux Mint 18 Sarah yüklü laptop'tan Windows 10 yüklü diğer laptopdaki paylaşım verilmiş olan klasöre ulaşamıyorum. Gerçi tam tersi durumda da aynı sorun geçerli. Yani windows makinadan linux makinayı da yerel ağda göremiyorum.  Linux makinamda yüklü olan dosya gezgini thunar dosya yöneticisi ile herhangi bir klasöre sağ tıklayıp özelliklere geldiğimde paylaşımla ilgili bir şey göremiyorum. Bu yüzden nautilus dosya yöneticisi yükledim. Nautilus da o özellik var paylaşım klasörleri oluşturabiliyorum ama yerel ağda ne ben windowsları görebliyorum ne de windowslar beni görüyor.
Ayrıca linux makinamdan smb://makinaadı şeklinde ulaşmaya çalıştığım makinalar hep şifre istiyor. Windows makinalar arasında böyle bir sorun yok.
